 LET’S TALK ABOUT… INTIMACY 


Wow this is not the easiest or the funniest topic to write about. Haha, but it is important in every relationship! And that’s why we talked about it in class and why I think it’s important to talk about in my blog. Although this will be a hard topic to discuss and now to write about it is important. 


A quote from the reading that I really liked was from President Henry B. Eyring. 

He said, "Just as Jesus used a child in His mortal ministry as an example for the people of the pure love they must and could have to be like Him, He has offered us the family as an example of an ideal setting in which we can learn how to love as He loves. That is because the greatest joys and the greatest sorrows we experience are in family relationships. The joys come from putting the welfare of others above our own. That is what love is."


I really like that quote because of the beauty and simplicity it has.

  LET’S TALK ABOUT… FAMILY STRESS This week I want to talk about family stress and stress and how I have been affected through stress and how it has affected my family.  In the reading this week there was a quote from Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, he said,  "Each of us will have our own Fridays -- those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays. But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death -- Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come. No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come."   LET’S TALK ABOUT.. MINDSET Does gender or sex matter in families? What are different tendencies in males and females? Is everyone different? These are some questions that will be answered in today's blog! In class this week we talked about the different tendencies males and females have.  Females Social  Aggression  Relation Orientation Language Earlier  Ask, Communicate Males Physical Violence over Aggression Spacial Orientation Language Later Fix, Solve  Females are more of a nurture and to care and males are more protective, provide and preside.  So how does mindset fit into the topic this week?
